in quito there are many building which are not yet finished and actually won't be for a long time. in the picture there is such a building. eight floors and and there was not enough money to finish the rest. but as allways, the buildings don't stay uninhabited for long. people they need a covered place to live occupy now the space up to the third floor. i don't think there is any electricity, wather or even a working toilet but i think they have gas for the cooking. the open holes which should have been a window are provisional covered with bricks, wood and glass so not too much wind will get thru. at least another simple way to live the life and its working.
